Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Koply service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Koply (operated by Guillermo Eduardo Gallego Pagella, Helsingborg, Sweden).

2. Description of Service

Koply provides a site search engine for e-commerce stores. The service includes product feed indexing, a JavaScript search widget, a management dashboard, and associated APIs. The service is provided on a subscription basis.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at privacy@koply.eu if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Plans, Billing and Payment

Koply offers Free, Starter, Growth, and Scale plans. Paid plans are billed monthly. Payments are processed by Stripe. All prices are shown exclusive of VAT where applicable. Invoices are issued at the start of each billing period.

The Free plan is provided at no cost and includes 1 site and up to 500 indexed products. Paid plans include a 14-day free trial; no credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, if no payment method has been added, the account is automatically downgraded to the Free plan.

5. Acceptable Use

The Koply search service is designed exclusively for e-commerce product search. "Unlimited searches" refers to queries generated by real users browsing an online store. The following uses are prohibited:

  • Automated mass scraping of the search API.
  • Using the API for purposes other than e-commerce product search.
  • Reselling or redistributing access to the Koply API as if it were your own service.
  • Any use that violates applicable law or the rights of third parties.

Koply reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts whose usage pattern is inconsistent with normal e-commerce use. In non-emergency cases, we will notify you before taking action.

6. Your Content and Data

You retain ownership of your product catalogue data and feed content. By using Koply, you grant us a limited licence to process and index your product data solely for the purpose of providing the service. We do not use your product data for any other purpose.

7. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses caused by temporary service unavailability.

8. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing settings in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will not be charged again. Your account will be downgraded to the Free plan and your data will remain accessible.

We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. In such cases we will provide reasonable notice except where immediate action is required to protect the service or other users.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Koply's liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Spain, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
